Twelfth Night

'It’s a tale of separated siblings, concealed identities, mischievous schemes and vengeful pranks, with more declarations of love than you could find in a Mills and Boon anthology – and most of them going to the wrong person! All set in motion by some of Shakespeare’s best loved characters including Viola, Olivia, Count Orsino, Malvolio, Feste, and Sir Toby Belch amongst many more.

'Our production was set in the summer of 1967 when the scene was swinging and expectations around gender roles and class were being challenged, all of which we think Mr. Shakespeare would approve of, as these are the themes he was writing about.'

The Forth Act's Production of Twelfth 'Night' ran from the 25th to 28th June 2025.

It was a privilege to work alongside such a considerate and intuitive cast and crew. Performing Shakespeare with The Forth Act in an open park, bracing whatever the weather threw at us, was a wonderful opportunity... even when I got a little scorched on the sunny final day!

'The aristocratic, trendy, 60's music lover Duke Orsino was played with style and stoicism by Finlay Allan.' - NODA
